Three to Six Month Course

About the Course

Art & Design Microstudio: 3-Month Intensive
(Optional 6-Month Extension Available)

This extensive and dynamic course is designed for artists of all levels who want to build not just technical skills but also a more analytical and observational approach to their work. Limited to just five students per session, you’ll receive the close guidance and individualised feedback needed to expand your creative abilities in a focused and supportive environment.

By the end of the course, you’ll have created a body of work that showcases your artistic range and conceptual development. You’ll also leave with a deeper understanding of your own creative process and the confidence to continue your practice independently.

Led by practising artist-educators, sessions are structured to introduce key techniques while allowing space for personal exploration.

Whether a beginner or returning to art after a break, this extended course offers the time and guidance needed to grow your skills and confidence.

What You’ll Experience:

A Deeper Creative Process: Go beyond surface-level techniques. You’ll learn to develop your ideas and produce artwork through a critical and analytical lens.

Broad Material Exploration: Dive into extensive mark-making, sketchbook development, and diverse experimentation. You’ll work with a wide range of materials—from drawing and painting to mixed media—to build a strong, versatile body of work.

Contextual Knowledge: Gain inspiration from art history and contemporary artists. Through reading lists and focused research, you’ll uncover the working methods of others to inform your own.

Intuitive & Spontaneous Creation: We encourage you to challenge your creative boundaries and embrace innovative ideas. By working energetically and intuitively, you’ll overcome inhibitions and develop a truly unique artistic voice.

Saturday Course

About the Course

This intensive weekend course offers a focused exploration of drawing and painting fundamentals in a condensed 6-week format. Ideal for busy creatives, hobbyists, and aspiring artists, each session delivers practical techniques and art-making experiences designed to spark curiosity and build essential skills.
With a combination of observational study and expressive exercises, students develop a solid grounding in visual language and hands-on processes.

Week 1: Foundations in Drawing & Tonal Studies

Week 3: Painting from Life & Landscape

Through guided sessions, hands-on experimentation, and a nurturing studio environment, students will unlock their creative potential and develop a deeper connection to their personal artistic voice.

Whether a beginner looking to explore your creativity or a practising art enthusiast wanting to refresh and deepen your process, this course offers structure, inspiration, and meaningful growth in a supportive setting.
